AA releases 283 prisoners

The Autonomous Administration (AA) of North and East Syria has announced the release of 283 prisoners who have been tricked to work with the agendas and projects of the takfirist, and their hands were not stained with the blood of the residents at the request of the notables and clans' sheikh during a press conference.

On Saturday, The Executive Council of North and East Syria's Autonomous Administration held a press conference at its headquarter in Ain Issa to announce the release of 283 prisoners to the security forces in north and east of Syria.

The statement was attended by the co-chairs of the Executive Council Abed al-Muhbash and Berivan Khalid, the Council's deputy Rohlat Aref and many media outlets' representatives.

The statement was read by the co-chair of the Executive Council Abed al-Muhbash.

The text of the statement included,

"As a result of urgent and repeated requests by notables and Sheikhs of clans, and personalities with high status in the administration as they are the center of respect and appreciation, and launching from the policy of forgiveness and pardon with the sense of responsibility, interest and appreciation for our people with all components in the north and east of Syria,

A few hours later, the Autonomous Administration in North and East of Syria decided to release 283 convicted prisoners who were among our Syrian people. They lost their way one day and violated the original customs and traditions prevailed in our Syrian society and broke the law. Some of them were deceitful by the takfirists' aggrieved agendas and projects that were the reason for destroying our cities and villages and stealing and looting our people's properties.

Schools and universities have been closed, and the system of life disrupted. However, AA considers itself responsible for all of them. If they get lost, they are our Syrian children. We provide them with help, love and tolerance, and provide them with opportunities of jobs to return to their normal situation in the society, so that we will release this number of prisoners in all of our administrations in al-Jazeera, the Euphrates region, Manbij, al-Tabqa, al-Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.

I wish them success and to stay away from everything that harms the interest of the homeland because those who do not have a homeland has no value and dignity. Let them live among their families, mothers, wives, children and their people in a normal way, and play their active and positive role to protect the homeland and defend it.

SDF have liberated all the areas of the Autonomous Administration from IS' control over the geography that they controlled. For two or three or more days, declared all areas of AA will be freed from the control of terrorism. However, terrorism has not finished yet, our armed forces / Syrian Democratic Forces have provided over 8,000 martyrs. We are proud of them and their sacrifices, and they deserve all the best regards, appreciation, gratitude and respect from us.
