The talk of Emad Al-Karaf came during an interview conducted by the Hawar News Agency(ANHA) to talk about the legitimacy of the demands of the people of northern and eastern Syria, who suffered from terrorism, calling for the establishment of an international tribunal in areas of Autonomous Administration from the legal perspective.
"The people of the region presented more than 11 thousand martyrs and the number of wounded exceeded 25 thousand to expel mercenaries from their areas, who sacrificed and fought on behalf of the world to get rid of them and to eliminate them completely," he said.
"The establishment of the International Tribunal is a legitimate right for us and includes all international rights and constitutions, in accordance with regional jurisdiction, which allows each region to prosecute a perpetrator of an offense in its region.
Al-Karaf pointed out that the trial of Daesh is a public demand translated by the administration and its political umbrella (MSD) and demanded by the international community as the legitimate representative of the people of the region.
Al-Karaf said that the reason for the demand is that the detainees are from multinational and belong to more than 50 countries.
On the diplomatic efforts exerted by the Autonomous Administration and the (MSD) al-Karraf noted that they had received positive responses to this demand from the European delegations that visited the region recently and the countries that are contacted in this regard, but all the promises are awaiting translation on the ground.
Al-Karaf, indicated that they take into account the legal and political difficulties related to this issue, as they proposed the establishment of a local court, indicating their ability to form in terms of cadres.
"The local court needs logistical support, it must be recognized and its rulings given that all the laws of the Justice Council in the Autonomous Administration are derived from international laws," he concluded.
It should be noted that the Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) arrested in the course of its fight with terrorism thousands of mercenaries of different nationalities, and indicated that they pose a threat to the people of the region and the world at large and repeatedly called for the establishment of an international tribunal to prosecute them.
