In an interview with ANHA, the co-chair of Executive Council of Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Berivan Khalid, said that efforts were being made to establish rules of procedures within bodies and committees in of Autonomous Administration of the north and east of Syria.
The Executive Council held a series of meetings with its 10 bodies and similar committees in the seven autonomous and civil administrations between 12 and 24 of last month to coordinate the work and increase cooperation between committees, bodies and the Executive Council.
It was decided during the meetings to form committees of each body and similar committees to establish rules of procedures to ensure the functioning within a unified system.
Berivan Khalid said, "Each committee, after drafting its own rules of procedure, submits it to the joint presidency of the Executive Council for considering and presentating it to the General Council for Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria for ratification and approval."
Khalid pointed out that 3 of the bodies have completed their draft and submitted it to the Executive Council, namely "Local Administrations, Finance, Youth and Sports". The remaining bodies are still finalizing the draft of the rules of procedure.
She noted that the Executive Council held on the 6th of this month a meeting for all bodies to urge them to expedite the completion of the draft of rules of procedure for each body within a period not exceeding 10 days.
Berivan attributed the delay of some bodies in completing their rules of procedure to the different administrative structure of some committees among each of the seven administrations, for example (the Environment Committee of the Health Body is related to Local Administration in some of the seven administrations.
She pointed out at the end of her speech that the purpose of establishing the rules of procedure for the bodies unified the work of the committees in all areas of Autonomous Administration, putting forward a reference to the mechanism of their work and avoiding the obstacles that would burden on the citizen.
