Israeli raids targeted an area in southern Syria

Syrian media reported that Israeli missiles targeted early Wednesday morning the southern Syrian, causing only material damage.

"The Israeli enemy, after midnight, has launched an aggression on Tel al-Hara, in the countryside of Daraa," the official SANA news agency said.

The agency pointed out that "the Israeli enemy launched at about one and a half after midnight, an aggression on Tel al-Hara in the western countryside of Daraa, that resulted in materials damage."

Tal al-Harah is considered a strategic area in the southern governorate of Daraa overlooking the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.

Over the past few years, Israel has launched hundreds of air strikes on sites it says are Iranian forces and Lebanese Hezbollah, but these raids intensified after the security summit between Russia, America and Israel in Jerusalem, where Moscow pledged to work to protect Israel's security.
