Kobani women commemorate mother Aweish

The women in the city of Kobani commemorated the 26th anniversary of the death of the mother of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan during a ceremony held in the center of Baki Khaddou.

The Kongra Star organized a commemoration ceremony for the mother of the Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Ocalan, "mother Aweish", on the anniversary of her death, at the Baki Khaddo Center for Culture and Art in the city of Kobani, with the participation of dozens of Kurdish and Arab women.

The ceremony began with a minute of silence. After that, the mother Hadla Muhammad made speech in which she commemorated the mother, and expressed her pride because she gave birth to a figure who led the liberation struggle in Kurdistan and the world.

 Hadla stressed that the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, derived points of strength from his mother and made them the source of the revolution of women who fought for it.

The ceremony ended with slogans saluting the resistance of leader Abdullah Ocalan.
