Kongra Star in Euphrates region: Turkish state intensified its fascist policy, organizations must intervene

The Kongra Star for the Euphrates region made clear that despite the spread and danger of the Corona virus, the Turkish state has intensified its unethical policies towards the detainees, and appealed to human rights and juristic organizations to intervene.

This came in a statement issued by the Kongra Star in the Euphrates region to the public opinion in the Free Woman Square in Kobane city.

The statement was read by the member of the Kongra Star Dejla Hayder in the presence of ten members of the Kongra Star, committing to the laws of social distancing to prevent the Corona virus after a case appeared in Kobane canton.

The statement read:

"As it is known, at the end of 2019 and the beginning of 2020, the Corona virus appeared for the first time in China, and after a short period it spread throughout the world, and now it poses a serious threat. Despite the great development in terms of health, but unfortunately no treatment has been found for this virus, and on this basis, people are infected and die in large numbers.

According to the international law which says that political prisoners and others must be released, "the situation of detainees in all countries must be taken into consideration, in addition to releasing them and reducing their sentences or taking preventive measures at all sides."

Despite the spread of the Corona virus around the world, this did not affect the Justice and Development (AKP) and its fascist policy, as it continues to adhere to its unethical methods.

So far, there is no information about the general health status of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the political detainees in Imrali, their lives are in danger, and there is no information about the situation and what is happening, and this is what makes us live in concerns about the health condition of the leader Ocalan and all detainees.

Therefore, we in the women's movement call on all human rights and juristic organizations to intervene and stop the dirty policies of the Turkish fascist state."
