Al-Bagara tribe elders affirm support for AANES and SDF
The sheikhs and elders of the Al-Bagara tribe in Jazera Canton affirmed their full support for the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) and their alignment with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). They emphasized the importance of Syrian-Syrian dialogue and called for an active role in shaping the future of a united, decentralized Syria.

On Wednesday, the sheikhs and elders of the Al-Bagara tribal clans held a meeting with Aldar Khalil, member of the co-chairs of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), to discuss the latest developments in Syria, particularly in the regions of North and East Syria.
The meeting addressed the current situation in Syria and stressed the need for national dialogue between Syrians while respecting the unique characteristics of North and East Syria and safeguarding the rights of all communities and minorities.
Support and calls for unity
During the meeting, Al-Bagara elders expressed their full support for the Autonomous Administration and their solidarity with the SDF, describing the forces as the protectors of the region's security and stability.
They also urged the Autonomous Administration to continue supporting the local population, release detainees whose hands are not stained with blood, and persist in general amnesty policies to strengthen national unity.
Call for a united, decentralized Syria and an active role for Al-Bagara in Syria future
In an interview with ANHA agency, Sheikh Fayez Al-Jadaan of the Al-Boshiakh clan described the meeting as productive and constructive. He highlighted the participants' commitment to unity and cohesion among all communities in the region.
Sheikh Al-Jadaan stated, "We affirm our support for the Autonomous Administration as the system that brings us all together. Without it, we would not be here today. Our sons fight within the ranks of the SDF to defend their land and dignity, and we stand firmly by their side."
He stressed the importance of Al-Bagara’s participation in decision-making, saying, "We must play an active role in shaping Syria's future. We support a united but decentralized Syria, which is essential to ensure justice and fairness for all components."
The meeting concluded with all participants reaffirming the importance of continuing Syrian-Syrian dialogue to achieve a unified vision. They called on the Autonomous Administration to intensify efforts to enhance services and achieve stability.
Attendees emphasized that standing with the SDF and AANES is not a choice but a necessity to secure a better future for Syria and its people.
