Saleh al-Zouba, head of the Future Syria Party’s Relations Office, expressed his rejection of attempts to incite discord among Syria’s communities and called for greater public awareness and adherence to the values of fraternity and peaceful coexistence.

Al-Zouba said the current phase involves implementing the integration process between the parties concerned and the transitional government, which requires greater understanding and cooperation and avoiding anything that could undermine stability.

He pointed to attempts to incite discord, particularly between the Arab and Kurdish communities, stressing the need to raise public awareness and uphold the values of fraternity and peaceful coexistence.

Al-Zouba emphasized that preserving civil peace and protecting social cohesion depend primarily on the awareness of citizens and patriotic individuals, as well as the efforts of civil society organizations, intellectuals, and officials. He noted that the social fabric had been built over decades of close relations between Arabs and Kurds, founded on cultural, ethical, and social values and strengthened by intermarriage and mutual cooperation.

He stressed the need to reject any attempts to undermine this social fabric or spread hatred among the region’s communities. He also called on political parties and relevant bodies to take a clear and responsible stance against rhetoric and practices that could fuel tensions and deepen divisions.

Concluding his remarks, al-Zouba called for strengthening the role of state institutions and security forces in containing tensions and preventing their escalation. He said such efforts would help protect civilians and public property, maintain stability and civil peace, and promote a culture of dialogue and understanding among Syria’s diverse communities.
