A mine explosion in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor caused the injury of two children seriously, and they were subsequently transferred to the hospital.

On Saturday noon, a landmine from the remnants of ISIS mercenaries exploded in the town of al-Susah in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, seriously injuring two children, and they were subsequently transferred to the hospital, according to our correspondent from the region.

Our correspondent indicated that the mine explosion caused the injury of the 12-year-old child Mohamed al-Zughair, and Khaled al-Mashaan, 16 years old, while security forces and mine action teams cordoned off the site and searched for other mines that may have been planted.
