The HPG's Media Center issued a statement on the operations carried out by their forces on June 15-16, stating:

"In the framework of the revolutionary campaign of the Martyrs Bakir and Ronya and in the face of the attempts of the Turkish occupation state of Khakork region in the areas of legitimate defense (Medya), our forces carried out on June 16 at 13:40 a bombing in the hill of Martyr Bakir killing a soldier of the Turkish occupation.

On June 15, at 01:30, our forces carried out an operation targeting the Dashtan outpost in Colemêrg's Cilê district. Strikes were directed at enemy reinforcements from two axes that resulted in the destruction of two earth mounds and the killing of one soldier.

On 12 June, clashes broke out between our forces and the occupation forces in Sheikhler, in the district of Alki in Şirnex, and we will publish information about these clashes to the public later.

On June 12, our forces in the village of Korak, near the stronghold of Mardin, faced the enemy forces where short clashes erupted between them. The Turkish occupation army bombarded the area with warplanes. The clashes and shelling did not cause any casualties in our ranks.

After the bombing, the residents wanted to go to the area to put out the fires that the bombardment left behind, but the Turkish occupation state prevented them from going.

We will publish all the information on the operation and announce it to the public. "
