The announcement came during a press conference held in the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party in Qamishlo, which was attended by several media, where 30 political members of the Kurdish Future Movement in Syria, under the umbrella of ENKS, announced their dissent from different cities and regions of al-Jazeera region Euphrates, Qamishlo, Dêrik, Amouda and Kobanî.
During the conference, a statement was read on behalf of the dissidents, read by member of the movement Ahmed Ibrahim, who said: We officially announce today our resignation from the Kurdish Future Movement in Syria and join the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party.
Ibrahim said that one of the reasons for their resignation is "the failure of the movement in activating the role of the youth in the party and the Kurdish National Council ENKS, unfortunately closed the way for us from all sides."
He added "we wanted to work for the sake of the safety and service of our people, but unfortunately every day there were foreign decisions and the Kurdish National Council was not the owner of any decision. All its decisions came from Başûr , Turkey and Germany, instead of taking its decisions from Qamishlo so we decided to resign from it. "
He added "We were putting forward our views on the establishment of various events in the Kurdistan region of Syria, but they were always sticking the charges with the Democratic Union Party and they are arguing that it is preventing them from holding events, this movement has separated us and some of its political parties also have been separated."
He also added "We today declare our joining the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party as it is the owner of a position, visions and principles in the Kurdistan region of Syria. "
Ibrahim concluded by saying: "We pledge our people to serve the cause and Kurdish nationalism successfully in the Kurdish arena, and we will work in the Kurdistan Democratic Peace Party and develop it according to the potentials we have."
