The Firat News Agency quoted sources from the Popular Defense Forces as saying that their fighters carried out on the morning of May 24 a military operation against the forces of the Turkish occupation army in the Kouri Jahru area of Zap.
The operation resulted in the killing of at least 6 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army, in addition to the seizure of large quantities of weapons and military equipment.
