8 civilians kidnapped, houses turned into investigation, torture centers

The mercenaries of the Turkish occupation intended to turn the people’s houses of Jala village in Rajo district into centers of investigations and torture, while the mercenaries kidnapped 8 civilians from Chaqmaqa village in Janders district, and they demand their families to pay a ransom of 7,000 dollars for the exchange of releasing them

The violations and practices of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against Afrin people in coincidence with the policy of the demographic change are ongoing, and the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are kidnapping Afrin people under false pretenses.

A sources from inside Afrin city’s center stated that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army kidnapped on Tuesday 8 civilians from Chaqmaqa village in Janders district and took them to one of the prisons established in Chaqala village in Janders district. The source assured that the mercenaries demand the families of the kidnapped to pay a sum of 7,000 dollars for each person in order to release them.

Another source from Jala village in Rajo district stated that the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation army intended to turn the houses of the village’s people into centers of investigations and torture.

In a relevant concern, the people of Jala village stated that 50 civilians from Chaqmaqa, Khelalqa, Chanchaliya and Alemdera villages in Rajo district, and those who have been previously kidnapped are being held now in the houses which have been turned into investigations and torture centers, and they are being tortured severely.

Furthermore, the photos which our agency obtained show that the operations of looting and stealing the civilians’ possessions in Afrin villages continue.
