The Autonomous Administration of North and East of Syria offered deepest condolences to Lebanese government and people, and said: "What happened yesterday calls for standing by Lebanon," and she wished stability for it.

Two massive explosions took place yesterday, Tuesday, in the port of Beirut, and, according to statistics, resulted in the loss of more than 100 lives, and the injury of nearly four thousand.

In this regard, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a statement expressing its condolences to the Lebanese state.

The text of the statement is as follows:

"We have received with great sorrow and grief the news of the thunderous explosion that struck Beirut Port on August 4, which killed tens of victims and hundreds of wounded, in addition to huge material losses.

This bombing came at a time when the coronavirus is still very prevalent, and also amid strong efforts by Lebanon and its people to achieve stability, after the difficult labor that preceded the last government, since what happened yesterday calls for standing by Lebanon and its people.

We are in AANES, as we express our sincere feelings, sympathy and solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people in these difficult circumstances, and offered our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded, and our condolences to the State of Lebanon, government and people.

With our wishes that Lebanon will overcome its ordeal and reign in security and stability, and return strong and stable. "
