​​​​​​​AA: We to support refugees in Mexmûr camp with medical as possible

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria has confirmed that is fully prepared to fulfil People's Assembly request in Rustum Judy camp, being trapped amid fears of Coronavirus outbreak in the camp, which includes large number of refugees.

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Berivan Khalid, said that they will fulfill the request of the People's Assembly in Mexmûr camp, taking into consideration humanitarian duty towards those refugees, and Berivan Khalid indicated that as Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, we are fully ready to provide assistance to people in need an any region.

In a message sent on Friday, the People's Assembly in Rustum Judy (Mexmûr) camp in Kurdistan region asked the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria to support confronting the Corona virus, in light of the siege imposed on the camp, which hinders the arrival of the necessary medical tools.

And the authorities of Kurdistan region imposed a siege on the camp of the Martyr Rustum Judy (Mexmûr), which contains about 12 thousand people.

Yesterday, the co-chair of the Democratic Society Conference (KCD) Leyla Guven appealed to Kurdistan Region Government to immediately cease the ban on the refugee camp in Mexmûr.
