AANES call on international community to take a clear position on attacks of Turkish occupation

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria denounced the attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the regions of north and east Syria, and called on the international community, Russia and America to take a clear position regarding these attacks.

The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued statement regarding the continuation of the Turkish occupation state's attacks on the regions of north and east Syria.

The statement of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria stated: "In a dangerous and remarkable escalation of the course of the Turkish genocidal war against the peoples of the region and its components, the Turkish drones carried out a treacherous targeting of the car of civilian administrators, Zeinab Muhammad Sarokhan and her colleague Yilmaz Shero Shero, the co-chairs of the Office of Justice and Reform Affairs of the Autonomous Administration in  Jazeera, during their regular tour of the reform and rehabilitation centers, on the road between Derek and Girkê Legê, which led to their rise to the rank of martyrdom in the place of targeting, and the Turkish occupation army and the Syrian mercenaries resumed in the evening of the same day striking civilians in the villages of Al-Asadiya and Al-Msherfa in the northern countryside of Zarkan  with heavy weapons, which led to the death of two children, Nayef Abdel Qader Hayawi, aged twelve, and Rima Ahmed Ismail, also of the same age, with serious injuries among the two children’s families.

The statement added, "We are in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, and at a time when we console ourselves and the families of the martyrs, their companions and their colleagues at work, we promise the martyrs and their families that we will follow in their footsteps in achieving freedom and democracy, and condemning these criminal acts, which rise to the ranks of war crimes  and crimes against humanity.”

The statement called on the international community, especially the Russian Federation and America, as guarantors of the ceasefire, to have clear positions regarding the attacks of the Turkish state on our areas, stressing that targeting of civilian administrators and before that of the security and military forces that fought alongside the international coalition to fight terrorism, which is still fighting the sleeping and vigilant terrorist cells with the international coalition, is a new escalation and a dangerous turning point in the context of the annihilating war of the Turkish state on Syria and the peoples of the north and east of Syria. It is pouring into the crucible of undermining the international efforts made to fight international terrorism, seeking to revive it again, and create environments for climates of strife and anxiety in the region, to empty it of its original inhabitants, strike the project of the Autonomous Administration as a national democratic project to extricate Syria from its historical and current crisis and to draw the features of the future Syria to be Syria for all Syrians.
