Afrin 's children embodied reality of what they lived during war

In coordination with Intellectuals' Union in Afrin, Rumaf Agency organized an event to draw the largest painting, with the participation of 2,000 boys and girls in Serdam camp in Al-Shahba Canton, entitled "Fingerprints of Pain"and " I have the Right to Live".  

Rumaf Agency has worked in coordination with Union of Intellectuals of Afrin, for more than a week on the equipment of the event, from mixing colors and paintbrush that end with an olive branch.

The fingers of the children of Afrin, who forcibly went out of their homes to the al- Shahba painted largest painting expressing their memories and tragedies during the bombing of the Turkish occupation army aircraft.

The aim of this work is to have more than 2,000 children paint different subjects on a cloth measuring 500 meters long and 160 cm wide, documentary cases they have seen in the last eight years, especially the period of the Turkish aggression on Afrin, which lasted fifty-eight days.

Two thousand children from the Afrin region in Kurdish, Arab and Yezidi, aged between 6 and 12 years, gathered with their teachers in Serdam camp in Al-Ahdath district of Al-Shahba canton to participate in the drawing of the world's longest painting.

The camp is decorated with pictures of the drowned child Alan Kurdi, and with olive branches amidst the width of the canvas, with hundreds of boxes of colors.
