After a long silence... Kurdistan Region 's parliament condemns Turkish attacks

The Kurdistan Region's parliament denounced in its session today the attacks of the Turkish occupation against areas of southern Kurdistan in the first breach of official silence. The speaker called on the Iraqi government to abide by its responsibility.

The parliament of Southern Kurdistan held its regular session today. The speaker of parliament, Dr. Vala Farid, began the session by condemning the attacks of the Turkish occupation against the areas of southern Kurdistan.

 The speaker of the parliament called on the Iraqi government to shoulder its responsibilities to the Turkish attacks, and said that "under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Iraq for 2005, all federal institutions of the Iraqi government are concerned with protecting the borders of Iraq and hope to defend the civilians in the region and compensate the affected.

The aircraft of the Turkish occupation army bombed in June 27 a civilian car in Mount Kortek in Qandil, where 3 civilians were martyred and 5 others were wounded.
