After years of absence, Arabic, Kurdish components will celebrate Newroz again

After dark five years, the Arabic and Kurdish components in al-Raqqa are getting ready to celebrate March 21st marking Newroz eid.


Five years after Daesh displaced the Kurdish, Christian, and Armenians from the city of al-Raqqa, SDF having liberated the city, thousands of families have returned to it.

In order to celebrate Newroz, preparations are underway where the preparatory committee is decorating the celebration place with pictures of the martyrs and the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

Members of the Culture and Art Committee have intensified their trainings as the Newroz eid is approaching.
