Al-Jazeera Tempest campaign liberated al-Hamidiya village

Syria's Democratic Forces liberated within the second stage of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign al-Hamidiya village, and thus they were 5 km away from al-Dashaisha town, the last stronghold of IS mercenaries.

The Syrian Democratic Forces(SDF) have advanced 10 km since the start of the second stage of the campaign. They are now near the town of al-Dashaisha, the last stronghold of IS mercenaries.

During the combing of the village, fighters of the Syrian Democratic Forces in al-Hamidiya village found an underground tunnel linking the village of Hamidiya in the town of al-Dashaisha, according to the fighters in the village, amid a cautious move to the fighters in the village due to the large number of mines planted by mercenaries before they fled..

Baran Kobanî a fighter in SDF said "Our liberation operations will not end here we will continue our advance towards the villages of al-Rohania, Abu Skhir, Abu Sakr, and the morals of the fighters are high."

As for al-Dashaisha town and its importance, Kobanî said: "It is a small area of no more than 2, 3 km and has great importance to IS mercenaries ."

The campaign continues to advance towards al-Dashaisha town and the Syrian-Iraqi border, aimed at clearing the entire land in the countryside of al-Hasakah and Deir ez-Zor from IS.
