Al-Mismari: We seek to prevent Turkey from benefiting from oil revenues

Libyan army spokesman Ahmed Al-Mismari explained that a technical committee was formed to oversee oil revenues, and he emphasized that the aim was that Turkey and the mercenaries would not benefit from the Libyan oil revenues.

The Libyan National Army announced the formation of a technical committee to oversee oil revenues, with the participation of Ahmed Maitiq, representing the Western Region, in addition to representatives from the rest of the regions.

While the Libyan parties are seeking to find a way to a political solution to end the crisis, Al-Mismari explained that the goal of the National Army is that Turkey and the mercenaries do not benefit from the Libyan oil revenues.

Earlier, the commander of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, announced on Friday the resumption of production and export of oil in all oil fields and facilities.

Haftar emphasized that the condition towards achieving this is the necessity to provide guarantees that his financial revenues will be distributed fairly, and that they will not be used to support and finance terrorism.

In addition, the spokesman for the Libyan National Army, Ahmed Al-Mismari, said that the Libyan-Libyan dialogue had started, and resulted in an agreement on reopening the oil fields, with the participation of Ahmed Maitiq and representatives from various regions.
