Dozens of people and religious sects in Sheikh Maksoud and al-Ashrafiyyah neighborhoods participated in the religious ceremony.
The ceremony began after al-Isha prayer by reciting verses from the Holy Quran, followed by speeches delivered by the Interfaith Forum’s director Ali Al-Hassen, the Imam of al-Salam Mosque Sheikh Omer al-Shami, and the speech of Sheikh Abdul Hamid Yassin; the Imam of al-Farwati Mosque.
The words concentrated on the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the need to follow the Islamic law for co-existence.
The audience then celebrated the religious songs.
The ceremony ended with the distribution of sweets to the audience.
