Another 30,000 dunums burned yesterday

On Monday, a fire broke out on agricultural crops in al-Jazeera region, in the triangle al-Hasaka - Amouda - Qamishlo on the International Road about 30 thousand dunums of agricultural land burned.

At 13:30 hours on Monday, the agricultural crops in Sikhur village of Jajar Bazar town in Amouda district broke out on the International Road. As a result of the wind, the area of ​​the fire expanded and the firefighters in Amouda rushed to extinguish it. However, the wind prevented it from being extinguished and the fire reached al-Haska-Amouda-Qamishlo-to the Kebka silos .

40 firefighters and with the cooperation of the residents and the Internal Security Forces, managed to extinguish the fire, which damaged about 30,000 dunums, at 19:45, in the village of Nurk, near Tel Barak district.

This is not the first time that fires have erupted in the territory of al-Jazeera Since the beginning of the harvest season, tens of thousands of hectares have been exposed to burn, and the people of the region and the Autonomous Administration of northern and eastern Syria believe that these fires are vexatious and there are hidden hands behind them.
