In respect to the areas shelled by the Turkish Occupation Forces a statement was released by the Media Office of the HPG, reads as follows:
''from February 20th, to 24th, some areas and a number of villages in the Medya Defence Zones were shelled by the war planes of the Turkish Occupation Army.
''Ava Shin, Zap, Metina, Qandil, Xakorke, and the villages of Deriki and Kani all in the Medya Defence Zones were shelled.
It was noted that their forces were never afflicted with any losses''.
