Berivan Khaled: AANES delegation visit Paris at the invitation of France President

​​​​​​​Berivan Khaled explained that the delegation of the Syria Democratic Council and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria had been headed to Paris at the official invitation of the French presidency. She said: "The French President has confirmed his support for AANES until a secure and stable situation is achieved in Syria."

At the invitation of President Emmanuel Macron of France, a delegation from the Syrian Democratic Council, headed by the Executive Council, Ilham Ahmed, and represented by Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, co-chair of the Executive Council, Berivan Khaled, and the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Civil Administration of Deir-ez-Zor, Ghsan Yusuf.

Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East, Berivan Khaled, talked to ANHA that the French presidency had extended an official invitation to the Democratic Autonomous Administration to visit Paris.

Berivan Khalid explained that the delegation had been invited for a while, they headed to Paris according to this invitation, saying "The French President, the French presidential advisers and high-level officials of the French Government attended the meeting."

She confirmed that during the meeting they discussed developments in north and east Syria, at all levels, in politics and in general, in social, security and economic matters, and fighting ISIS. She said: "The French President has reiterated his support for AANES until a secure and stable situation is achieved in Syria and the region."

She revealed that the French presidency had confirmed their continued military and economic support for AANES' areas.

A high-level delegation from the Syrian Democratic Council and the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria met today, Monday, July 19, with the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron.
