Brownstein discusses with AANES ways of participating in the Syrian political solution

The Foreign Relations Department of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria said that it had received the Deputy U.S. Envoy to Syria, explaining that the parties had discussed "the participation of the AANES in the political process and the means of a political solution in Syria."

According to the official website of the Foreign Relations Department, Wednesday, the meeting took place between the parties.

The Deputy United States Envoy for Syria, David Brownstein, was received by the co-chair of the Relations Department, Abdul Karim Omar, Vice-Chair Fener al-Katit, Spokesperson Kamal Akf and the Director of the Presidential Office, Ms. Naafia Mohamed.

According to the website, during their meeting, the parties discussed "the general situation in Syria and the situation in the areas of Autonomous Administration, the participation of the Autonomous Administration in the political process and the means for a political solution in Syria."

"The meeting also addressed the importance of the role of the International Coalition in all political, economic, security and humanitarian aspects in the region," according to the official website of the External Relations Department of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.
