Buthaina Shaaban considered that what Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan seeks is to introduce the Muslim Brotherhood into the Syrian political arena, but Damascus rejects it.

Buthaina Shaaban said: "The liberation of Idlib is settled and Erdogan cannot establish a buffer zone in northern Syria.

She added, "We are not going to allow anyone to change the identity of Syria."

She added that the statement of the head of the regime in Syria against Erdogan was realistic, stressing that Erdogan cannot succeed in establishing a "buffer zone in northern Syria," and that  Erdogan is playing on many cards.
