Calls for assistance to Rojhilat people

The number of tents set up by the Kurdish Red Crescent Society to raise funds to help flood victims in Rojhilat (eastern Kurdistan) has reached 11 tents in northern Syrian cities and towns.

The Kurdish Red Crescent has set up a tent in the city of Qamishlo, next to the Mohammed Sheikho Center for Culture and Art, to help those affected by the floods that swept through a number of areas in Rojhilat.

A member of the Kurdish Red Crescent, Farhan Ali Suleiman, told our agency(ANHA): "After the floods that swept through a number of areas in Rojhilat of Kurdistan, our people were displaced from their homes, after their homes were destroyed as a result of floods.

Suleiman called on the people of northern Syria to help the people of Rojhilat affected by the floods, and not to leave them in the face of cold and homelessness caused by the floods.
