Cases of suffocation, fire penetrates Dabous village

The fires that spread to the village of Dabous south of Amuda caused a number of cases of suffocation among the residents, while the efforts of the firefighting teams with the support of the people to extinguish the fire and prevent further expansion.

Fire broke out in different areas of the agricultural fields southwest of the city of Qamishlo, while about 20,000 dunums of land have been burned to date in the villages of Kajel Arab, Kevri Spi, Karbawi, Mulla Sabat, Dimkhiyya, Niv, Tal Fares. Our correspondent said that the fires reached the international road between the cities of Qamishlo and Amuda and reached the southern villages.

According to our correspondent, the fire spread into the village of Dabous south of Amuda area near the international road, where cases of suffocation have been registered due to smoke from the crops.

Our correspondent pointed out that the emergency teams transferred the injured to hospitals while firefighting teams and the people attempt to extinguish the fire and prevent it from expanding further.
