Today, August 3, marks the 5th anniversary of Şengal massacre, which took place following an attack by ISIS mercenaries that killed thousands of Yezidis and the abduction of thousands of Yezidi children and women.
In this context, Hawar news agency (ANHA) interviewed with number of Ad- Derbasiyya district's people in al-Hasakah canton in north and east of Syria, who blamed the international society for the massacre that took place against the people of Şengal because of its silence and its failure to protect the religious and national components.
YPG, YPJ, SDF who took revenge for Şengal people
The citizen Samira Aziz condemned the genocide that took place on August 3, 2014 and described it as a black day on all humanity and continued her talk, saying: "We pay tribute to the martyrs of decision 73 on Şengal carried out by ISIS mercenaries against our Yazidi people, whose goal was to annihilate the Yazidi community and to obliterate their identity and their authentic culture."
Samira stressed that the YPG, YPJ and SDF who played major role in saving thousands of Yezidis by opening safe corridors towards Rojava, and that they pledged themselves to took avenge of them and fulfilled their vow: " and added" who took avenge for Şengal and its people, through the fight against ISIS and defeated them Şengal and eastern Syria, and the liberation of hundreds of abducted Yazidi women and children.
