The Turkish occupation has for some time threatened to occupy north and east of Syria, and is bringing military reinforcements to the border. These Turkish threats have rejected by the people of the district where the people expressed resentment against these threats.
In this context, the people of Ad-Darbasiyya district denounced the threats of the Turkish occupation on the north and east of Syria. They stressed that they would not allow the occupation to commit massacres against the peoples of the region as it is now doing in the other areas which were occupied.
Citizen Farhan Merzo, explained that these threats are not new, and said "We, as peoples of north and east of Syria, are always on the principle of resistance. As we resisted against Daesh mercenaries, we will resist today the Turkish occupation."
Merzo stressed that they would not allow Turkey to destabilize security and stability and failure their democratic project in the north and east of Syria, which was watered with the blood of its citizens.
For his part, Abdullah Mustafa pointed out that the peoples of the region have adopted the principle of resistance. "Because we have now resisted, we live in safety and security, and we do not allow anyone to destabilize our regions again."
In her turn, Laila Said explained that Erdogan aims to restore the Ottoman glories and impose his authority in the region and re-commit massacres against the peoples of the region and said: "We will not allow it and we will resist until the last breath."
