Civilian injured in Turkish shelling on Um al-Keif village

Khaled Ibrahim was wounded by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the village of Um al-Keif with missiles and rockets, and he was taken to the People Hospital in Al Hasaka.

The Turkish occupation continues shelling the villages and areas of Serêkaniyê and Tel Tamer, despite the United Nations' call to halt military operations to counter the threats of the coronavirus.

Khaled Mohammed Ibrahim, 27, was injured and taken to the People Hospital in Al Hasaka for treatment, as his injuries were not serious, medical staff said.

Khaled's mother, Fatima Ziab, told our agency: "At around 12:00 p.m., the Turkish occupation bombed our village Um al-Keif in Tel Tamer countryside, and my son was hit by shrapnel in his feet and taken to hospital."

"The Turkish occupation is almost constantly bombing our villages, targeting homes and civilians. We don't know what they want from the civilians," Fatima said.

In addition to targeting civilians, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries today targeted water supply systems from Al-Alouk station to Al Hasaka and went out from service again.
