Culture Body: Turkey seeks an Ottoman Empire at expense of peoples' values

The members and administrators of the Culture and Art Body in the Euphrates region issued a statement to the public opinion, stressing the need to face what Turkey seeks to form an Ottoman Empire at the expense of the values of peoples.

A few days after the start of the Turkish occupation of the construction of a wall around the canton of Afrin, in an attempt to annex it to Turkish territory in an unprecedented step, all these practices have been rejected. The Culture and Art Body in the Euphrates region today issued a statement before the Cultural Center in Kobanî in Arabic and Kurdish languages, and was read by the joint presidency of the body Rizan Nasan and Zilan Hamo, where the statement noted:

"Since the date of 18-3-2018, the Turkish state has occupied the Syrian canton of Afrin and the Turkish state, which is in solidarity with terrorist mercenary groups, has practiced the most inhumane methods, not only against the Afrin people, but it also burned and vandalized the nature, the Turkish state began to build a wall to isolate Afrin from Syrian territory.

We call upon the world public opinion to stop the practices of the Turkish state which are far from human rights and aspire to the formation of an Ottoman Empire at the expense of the values ​​of the people and practice the dirty occupation attacks."
