Curfew to be imposed in al-Jazeera region from tomorrow on

The Crisis Cell in al-Jazeera region announced a state of curfew, between cities and districts, and a complete curfew as of tomorrow, Thursday, with the exception of only emergency cases.

With the continuation of the Corona pandemic and the increased risk of the virus, especially after the emergence of cases of infection, which have so far reached eight cases and dozens of cases of suspicion in al-Jazeera region, and considering the risks the Corona pandemic poses to the lives of citizens and the prevention of its spread, and in the interest of the safety of the region and its people, the Crisis Cell decided to take several measures, as follows:

1- The curfew and prohibition of movement between cities and regions during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, except for emergency cases.

2- Preventing gatherings in all their forms (wedding, consolation tent, public parks, parks, places of worship, swimming pools, gyms, restaurants, cafes, etc.).

3- The attendance at Rojava University, training centers, nurseries and kindergartens suspended until another statement is issued.

4- The necessity of strict adherence to the domestic quarantine of all suspected cases that do not need to be transferred to health centers.

5 The need to adhere to the rules of social distancing in all places, and the necessity of the commitment of the owners of shops, bakeries and others to preventive measures.

6- All visits to prisons are prohibited.

7- Internal buses within cities are suspended.

8- The decisions will be effective on 7/30/2020, which falls on Thursday.

We also call upon our people to fully adhere to the decisions and preventive measures, in order to preserve their safety, and we congratulate our entire people on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, and the need to adhere to the decisions and rules of social separation during the holiday.
