Daesh claimed responsibility for blasts in Sri Lanka

Daesh has claimed responsibility for a series of explosions in Sri Lanka that killed 321 people and wounded about 500 others.

The media of  Daesh mercenaries,(Amaq agency) said that the perpetrators of the attack in Sri Lanka of Daesh mercenaries.

"There is a belief in the responsibility of two domestic organizations for the bombings that rocked Sri Lanka on Sunday during the Easter celebration," Sri Lankan Defense Minister Rowan Wigiwarden said in a statement.

He added that the bombings were carried out by the "National Tawhid Group and the Association of Mullah Ibrahim."

The Daesh declaration coincides with Wigiwarden's saying that the bombings of churches and hotels in Sri Lanka were a retaliation for the attack on mosques in New Zealand on March 15.
