Demonstrators in al-Hasakah, Aleppo: We to continue struggle , liberate Ocalan

Thousands of women from the Society Protection Forces - Woman, in al-Hasaka canton and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo, protested against the isolation imposed on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan.


In conjunction with the 20th anniversary of the international plot against the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Women of the Society Protection Forces - Woman, in al-Hasakah organized a demonstration in Tel-Tamer district of al-Hasakah canton.

Demonstrators raised the flags of Society Protection Forces - Woman, and the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and photos of the parliamentarian Leyla Guven.

The demonstrators held a minute of silence, after which the member of Kongra Star, Walida Bouty, delivered a speech and made clear that the aim of the international plot against the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, is to eliminate the Kurdish liberation movement.

She noted that the thought and philosophy of Ocalan, which calls for the freedom of women and live according to the democratic nation.

At the end of her speech, she confirmed that they as women in the north and east of Syria will continue to follow this thought through which they were able to obtain their freedom.

The demonstration ended with slogans denouncing the international plot and emphasizing the continued struggle to free Ocalan.


Under the slogan "Our to Destroy Imrali Regime and Live Free with Leader Ocalan," the Society Protection Forces- Woman in coordination with Kongra Star organized a demonstration to denounce the international plot against Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, which enters its 21st year.

Hundreds of residents of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood participated in the demonstration, along with the members of civil institutions, and political parties, the Democratic Union Party(PYD), the Syrian Democratic Council(MSD), and the Syrian National Alliance.

At the demonstration, all participants wore special clothing for the Society Protection Forces, holding pictures of Ocalan and the parliamentarian Leyla Guven.

On behalf of the Society Protection Forces - Women the administrative Nesreen Rashid delivered a speech and said that the plot against the leader is a conspiracy committed against all oppressed peoples and women in particular, and added, " the Kurdish people and the leader did not care about that conspiracy but stood before the conspirators and continued to walk on their struggle. "

She added that all forces continue their violations against the Kurdish people and the people of the region by attacking them and carrying out looting and forced displacement as happened in Afrin.
