Ed-Dirbasiyya people… leader lawyers' meeting with him does not mean lifting isolation

Ed-Dirbasiyya district's people have stressed that the isolation imposed on the Kurdish people's leader was still continuing despite the meeting with him, and the hunger strike of Leyla Guven and her comrades proved to the world the will and determination of the Kurdish people, explaining that the goal of Turkey from allowing the leader's lawyers to meet him was a try to stop the strugglers from their strike.

Hundreds of Kurdish people continue to go on hunger strike in order to lift the isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, while the Turkish state continues to impose isolation, which has raised the Kurdish component people's resentment in the parts of Kurdistan and European countries.

On 2 May, the Turkish state allowed two of the lawyers of the leader Abdullah Ocalan to meet him in order to stop the strugglers from their strike, where ed-Dirbasiyya district's people saw that the isolation still imposed on the leader, and Turkey's allowing the leader's lawyers to meet him was only a trick, during an interview held by Hawar news agency with a number of the people of the district.

The citizen Abdul Baqi Ali explained that the lawyers' meeting with the leader did not mean that the isolation imposed on the leader ended. "This meeting is another policy followed by the Turkish occupation state in order to stop the activists' hunger strike."

The citizen Abdul Wehhab Tel Karma made clear during his speech that the resistance and the struggle of Leyla Guven and her comrades on hunger strike and the demands to lift the isolation on the leader were still continuing.

For his part, citizen Yassin Mohammed Khalaf said during his speech, "Day after day, we see the continuation of the hunger strikers in Kurdistan and Europe with the aim of lifting the isolation imposed by the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan, and a few days ago, we heard that the lawyers of the leader met him and this will increase hunger strikers' determination to continue their strike until they achieve their goals and lift the isolation of the leader."
