Exempting subscribers from service fees in northern and eastern Syria

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria approved the exemption of citizens from paying electricity, water and hygiene bills for two consecutive months, as assistance in light of imposing a curfew throughout the region.

The regions of northern and eastern Syria have witnessed a curfew since March 23, as a precautionary measure to prevent the emergence of the Coronavirus, after it turned into a global pandemic.

Based on the requirements of the public interest, and as a kind of assistance to citizens, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration issued a decision to exempt all participants from paying the bill for the third session of "May and June"

In the text of its decision, the presidency said that this comes as an aid to citizens in the curfew imposed due to the Coruna virus.
