On the occasion of April 4, the day of the birth of the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the Committee on Culture and Art opened an exhibition of pictures of Ocalan, which was painted by a number of artists of all components, which were painted in various ways such as painting on wood, marble and paper plates in addition to drawings of women and nature and the difficulties faced by the Syrian people throughout history.
The exhibition also included paintings and sculptures, about nature, women and displacement, and a statue of the struggler Kawa, and included a number of handicrafts such as woolen clothes of all kinds. The exhibition witnessed the existence of ancient artifacts of more than 100 years, including the hand mill, lighting tools, old iron and other heritage tools Of the peoples of the region.
A documentary on the life of Ocalan's struggle also was screened within the exhibition.
The exhibition will continue in al-Hasaka until Wednesday evening.
