First Emirati commercial flight takes off to Israel

Today, Thursday, the airline "Fly Dubai" for low-cost flights launched its first direct flights to Tel Aviv, and a spokesman for Dubai International Airport, one of the largest airports in the world, confirmed to "Agence France Presse" that the plane took off Thursday morning on its four-hour flight.

While the spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ofir Gendelman, announced that Netanyahu "will be present at Ben Gurion International Airport when the plane arrives."

According to a previous announcement by "flydubai", it will operate two daily flights between Dubai and Tel Aviv.

On the 15th of September this year, the UAE and Bahrain signed an agreement to normalize "full relations" with Israel, under the auspices of US President Donald Trump, in Washington.
