Leyla Guven began her hunger strike in November 8, 2018 from the city of Amed. Although the Turkish authorities released Leyla Guven shortly after the start of the strike, the latter did not stop and continued the strike at her home.
The member of the Democratic Peoples' Party Nasir Yagiz is also continuing the hunger strike for 142nd days in Hewler, along with 14 people who are on hunger strike in Strasbourg and Imam Shish in Wales for the 116th day. In addition to the continuation of the first group's strike in Turkish prisons for the 117th day, while the strike of the second group of detainees in Turkish prisons, which began on the first of March for the 42nd day is ongoing.
In Amed, the MPs for the Democratic Peoples' Party; Dêrsim Dag, Tayyib Taml and Morad Sarisaj have been on hunger strike in the party's building since March 3.
The strikers, who began a hunger strike in Turkish prisons and were later released, continued their hunger strike. The strike of Sadat Akin, who began his hunger strike in Arzincan prison and then released, continued and still ongoing his strike at home for the 97th day.
And Garbat Aktirn continued the strike for the 87th day, in addition to Ihsan Sinmish (44 days), who began the strike on March 1 at Selfery prison in Istanbul. He continues to strike at his home in Istanbul's Kojukujmga district after he was released in March 11. And Samara Alkan in Izmir (95 days).
Ferdi Karabay's continues his hunger strike, which began in March 1 in Bujai prison in Izmir and was released on 22 March to continue his strike at home, and Samra Alkan in Izmir (92 days).
Along with the continuation of Joseph Eba's hunger strike in Toronto, in Canada (90 days), Mustafa Tuzak Duisburg (89 days), Hussein Yildiz (84 days) and Hasbi Jackjie (83 days).
In the martyr Rustam Judy camp (Makhmor) Fadilah Took continues the strike for the 82nd day, Shiyar Khalil in Nurinburg (78 days), Jamal Kobani and Omer Bakdor in Kassel (73 days), Mohamed Ali Koçer in front of the UN building in Geneva (55 days), Nahida Zankin, Mohamed Saeed Yilmaz, and Ali Buiraz in London (26 days), Harim Mahmoud (47 days) and Kolbakh Jalal (26 days).
The self-sacrifice operations
On February 20, Okur Shaker set fire to his body in front of a court in the German city of Krefeld in protest against the isolation imposed on Ocalan. He was seriously wounded on March 22.
