French magazine honored for attacking Erdogan, affirming that he practices ethnic cleansing against Kurds

The Foreign Press Association granted the French magazine Le Point the International Prize of the Year 2019 for its coverage of Turkish attacks on northern and eastern Syria, during which it launched an attack on Erdogan and said: "Turkey and its mercenaries are carrying out ethnic cleansing operations against the population."

The French magazine attacked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, accusing him of "practicing ethnic cleansing."

The French magazine put Erdogan's cover on its cover, saluting the army, and wrote, "Ethnic cleansing is Erdogan's style ... Would he like to give him permission to threaten Europe?"

Erdogan, through his lawyer, filed a complaint against the French magazine.

Many Western politicians, including European lawmakers and US Senators, condemned Turkey's plan, saying it meant the ethnic cleansing of the Syrian Kurds in areas occupied by the Turkish army.
