Under the slogan "Triumph of Afrin is failure of isolation", in Girê Spî canton condemning the Turkish occupation and isolation of leader Ocalan.
The event was organized by the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, where dozens of youth participated alongside a number of residents under the slogan "Triumph of Afrin is failure of isolation".
The protest came as a condemnation of Turkey's construction of a wall separating the occupied city of Afrin from its Syrian surrounding and denouncing the isolation imposed by the Turkish authorities on leader Abdullah Ocalan.
The demonstrators carried pictures of leader Ocalan and flags of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, amid chanting slogans condemning the Turkish occupation and mercenaries.
The administrator of the youth movement, Hassan Zaml, delivered a speech in which he said: "We condemn and denounce the attacks on our people in Afrin and condemn the occupation wall that Turkish occupation has built around the city."
"We, the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement, are ready to defend every inch of our land in Syria, and therefore we say to the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries that we will defend every inch of our territory to the last drop of blood in our bodies."
