Girgê Legê people condemned Turkish occupation wall

Hundreds of people demonstrated in Girgê Legê to denounce the occupation wall erected by the Turkish occupation state in Afrin.

Hundreds of people from Girgê Legê  district  gathered today in the square of the martyr Khabat to participate in a protest against the practices of the Turkish occupation state and the separation wall that it erected in Afrin.

Participants held banners reading "No to the Turkish Occupation in Afrin",  in addition to flags and pictures.

In the center of the city, the demonstration turned into a mass rally where the co-chair of the Dirk Canton Council Abdul Rahim Mohammed delivered a speech and said, "The goal of the occupation wall is to separate Afrin from Syria, and the Turkish occupation is continuing its crimes against the people of Afrin and imposing demographic change."

He added, "We are on the path of the democratic nation, and on the philosophy of Ocalan, he said.

Abdul Rahim Mohammed also condemned the isolation imposed on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and the hunger strikers, and called for everyone to escalate the struggle against the practices of the Turkish occupation state.

The demonstration ended with slogans saluting the resistance of Afrin and denouncing the occupation wall.
