Hariri calls on Washington, Paris to intervene to stop escalation on border with Israel

Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri held telephone calls with Washington and Paris on the backdrop of tension on the border with Israel, and called on them and the international community to intervene and stop the tension.

According to agencies, Hariri called US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and French President Emmanuel Boone's adviser, according to the official NNA news agency.

Hariri also contacted Lebanese President Michel Aoun and also contacted Army Commander General Joseph Aoun and briefed him on the measures he is taking under the escalation with Israel.
