According to the media center of the People's Defense Forces, "the Guerilla forces carried out a series of qualitative operations in Medya which resulted in the killing of 39 Turkish occupation soldiers and the injury of 5 others."
The media center indicated that as a result of the Guerilla operations, sites and monitoring devices (Mobis) and an ammunition store for the Turkish occupation were destroyed, in addition to seizing a large number of military equipment and ammunition.
