According to the Media Center of HPG the Guerilla forces carried out qualitative operations against the Turkish occupation army in Zap, Avaşîn, Metîna in the legitimate defense areas, killing 4 of the Turkish occupation soldiers, wounding another, and damaging a Skorsky helicopter.
The center confirmed that "the Turkish occupation army bombed the resistance squares with tactical nuclear bombs, chemical weapons and prohibited phosphorous bombs 15 times, with warplanes 5 times, with attack helicopters 47 times, and with mortars, UBS and heavy weapons dozens of times."
