On Monday, the Media Center of the People’s Defense Forces issued a statement to the public opinion on the latest developments in the battles in the legitimate defense areas.
In its statement, the center confirmed that "the Guerilla forces carried out 8 specific operations against the Turkish occupation army in the legitimate defense areas, which resulted in the killing of 10 Turkish occupation soldiers."
The center also indicated that "the Turkish occupation army bombed the resistance squares 31 times with tactical nuclear bombs, chemical weapons and prohibited phosphorous bombs, twice with warplanes, 50 times with attack helicopters, and dozens of times with mortars, and heavy weapons."
