The Turkish occupation army has been practicing its violations against the people of Afrin canton since the first day of the occupation.

As part of the series of violations, information obtained by ANHA correspondents from Rajo and Shera districts of Afrin canton that are controlled by the Turkish occupation that the occupation army and its mercenaries have issued identity cards in Turkish, and they are stamped with the mercenaries' logo, different from the identity cards issued by the so-called the temporary civil registry secretariats of the Syrian government as formerly done in Jarablus to Azaz.

The source confirmed that the Turkish army is seeking to impose Turkish identities similar to Kimlik cards on the native residents of Afrin in order to form a database of the population of the canton.

The card contains a security code to collect all information by linking it to the Central Intelligence's database, to increase pressure on the population, obstruct their movement and recruit the young people who reach the age of 18 as part of Turkey's complementary policy of the occupation which is displacement and gradual demographic change.

It is rumored that after the completion of granting all the native and displaced people the cards, elections will be held in which all 70% of the displaced people will participate for receiving all local councils and issuing decisions on the ownership of homes and properties of absentees and the forcibly displaced persons.

According to the sources, the Turkish occupation army registers the Kurdish indigenous residents of Afrin as refugees.
