In martyr Hêvîdar's ceremony: People sacrificed for their freedom

Qamişlo people made clear that the people of the area paid a high price for the liberation of their land and people, and made clear that IS mercenaries who pose a threat to the people of the area and the world are coming to end by virtue of the Syrian Democratic Forces' (SDF) resistance and struggle during the funeral ceremonies of the martyr Hêvîdar Azadî.  

QAMIŞLO

Hundreds of Qamişlo people bid farewell the corpse of the martyr in the Women Protection Units (YPJ) Hêvîdar Azadî, the real name is Yadehan Mostafa to the martyr Delil Serokhan cemetery in Qamişlo city that was martyred during her participation in al-Jazeera Tempest campaign in its last stage to liberate what have been remained of Deir ez-Zor areas from IS mercenaries. 

Hundreds of Qamişlo people, representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA), the civil institutions and the military forces participated in the ceremony.

As the martyr's corpse reached the martyr Delil Serokhan cemetery, east of Qamişlo city, her comrades carried her corpse to the ceremonies' platform amid the mothers' trills and the slogans that glorify the martyrs.

There, the funeral ceremonies started with performing a military parade by the fighters of the People Protection Units (YPG) and Women Protection Units (YPJ). After that, several speeches were delivered among them the speech of the member of the Martyrs' Families Institution in Qamişlo city Fatma Jassem, the commander in the ranks of YPJ Delar Qamişlo, and the co-chair of the Antiquities Authority in the DAA in al-Jazeera region Hussein al-Ali. 

The speeches consoled the martyr Hêvîdar Azadî's family and the fighters of YPG and YPJ, and they made clear that the martyrs' cemeteries in the area daily receive the martyrs' corpses who sacrifice their souls in order to defend the people of the area and protect the homeland's soil.

The speeches also noted that the people of the area paid a high price for the sake of liberating their land and people, and that IS mercenaries who pose a threat to the people and of area and the world are counting their last breaths be virtue of SDF's resistance and struggle.

The martyr Hêvîdar Azadî's father Mostafa Hannan thanked the mourners and said, "The martyr Hêvîdar is not the first martyr and will not be the last, and we will continue following the martyrs' approach." 

After ending the speeches, the member of the Martyrs' Families Council in Qamişlo city Refin Sheikhmos read the martyrdom's document and handed it over to her family.

In the end of the ceremonies, the martyr Hêvîdar was buried amid the people's chants.
